Bentley Continental GT V8 / GTC V8 Pricing and Options List Leaked

The new V8 version of the Bentley Continental GT has generated a lot of hype, starting from the moment when the British carmaker and Audi announced they’re working on a new V8 engine together. The new version promises to offer the same Bentley spirit, all in a package that brings less emissions, 40 percent less, according to Bentley, and comes with a financial advantage. We are here now to talk about the latter and we’ll get straight to the point: we’re inviting you take a good look at the above images, where you’ll find the full pricing for the new model year Bentley Continental GT and GTC range (both the V8 and W12 models - for the German market, where the VAT sits at 19 percent).

The photos, which come from a Bentley source, show that while the W12 coupe is offered at EUR 183,974 (VAT included), the new V8 can be yours starting from EUR 161,840. So the V8 engine brings the coupe’s price down by EUR 22,134, with the gap widening a bit to EUR 25,347 for the open top GTC versions, which retail for EUR 203,371 and EUR 178,024, respectively.

You can see the difference in terms of features availability in the photos and we’ll focus a bit on some optional extras that caught our eye.



The carbon ceramic brakes will set you back EUR 12,138, but if you’re short on budget you can just paint the calipers red for EUR 1,243, while for adding an inch to your wheel size (you’ll get to 21-inch), you’ll have to pay between EUR 2,034 and EUR 4,867. You'll probably also want the EUR 6,390 Premium Audio, the EUR 2,385 Adaptive Cruise Control, the EUR 2,582 Park Heater with Remote Control.

You’re the type that prefers “packages”? No problem - Opting for the Mulliner spec with 21-inch rims, multiple interior and a few exterior changes, will cost you EUR 12,988 in the V8, but you can also go for the more reasonable Convenience specification (Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear View Camera and Valet Key), which is sold for EUR 3,043.

Where the V8 is really restricted compared to the W12 is in the Veneers area - here, for the first you don’t have any options, compared to the six finishes offered for the latter. However, you can play with the alternative finishes.

OK, so you’ve got the V8, but that doesn’t mean your car is less special, right? Thus, you can take a dive in the most exotic area of the entire list - the exterior finish one. Here, your level of indulgence can climb as high as EUR 30,618, a sum for which you receive a liquid metal paint range.
