| Toyota Land Cruiser Facelift |
Toyota has recently launched the facelifted version of the Land Cruiser in Japan, after the model leaked in brochure scans earlier this month.
The Japanese based automaker says that the new Toyota Land Cruiser facelift is coming with only one engine, the 4.6 liter V8 unit, which is developing a total output of 314 horsepower and has a peak torque of 460 Nm (339 lb-ft), returning an average fuel consumption of 7.1 km/L, which is translated to 20 mpg – UK, or 17 mpg – US. Toyota says that the facelifted Land Cruiser is available in three trim levels, starting with the five-passenger GX, the eight-passenger AX and the ZX, where the first one costs 4.400.000 yen (56.700 USD), the second one has a price of 4.800.000 yen (61.800 USD) and the third one has been priced at 6.300.000 yen (81.200 USD).
The 200 Series Land Cruiser, which is also known as the Lexus LX 570, shouldn’t be confused with the Land Cruiser Prado, and, as you can see in the images posted in the photo gallery below this article, the model is defined by a restyled front fascia, with a new front bumper, new fog lamp openings, new grille slats, new headlamp design with LED, a new rear taillamp design, turn indicators placed on the side mirrors, 18 or 20 inch aluminum wheels and windscreen wipers with rain sensors. Everything else remains the same as the current model.
