Audi A4 Allroad |
Audi has recently presented to the public the A4 Allroad, the A8 3.0T and the facelifted RS5 at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show.
According to the car manufacturer, the Audi A4 Allroad will replace the slow-selling A4 Avant and it’s practically identical to the European version, coming in nicely equipped with panorama sunroof, power seats, aluminum trigon trim and 18 inch alloy wheels as standard, while the options list includes heated front seats, GPS navigation and Bang & Olufsen audio system. Power to the model is being provided by the 2.0 liter TFSI petrol engine, developing 208 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque (258 lb-ft), mated to an eight-speed tiptronic transmission powering the Quattro all-wheel drive system.
The Audi A8 3.0T has also been presented to the public at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit and it’s powered by a 3.0 liter turbocharged V6 engine, which is generating a total output of 328 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque (325 lb-ft), and the model will be joined by the diesel version, the 3.0 TDI A8, later this year. Last but not least, the RS5 facelift is equipped with a 4.2 liter V8 engine, developing 444 HP and 430 Nm of torque (317 lb-ft), mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission powering the Quattro all-wheel drive system. The top speed of the model has been electronically limited to 280 km/h (174 mph).
